MVE-2-RS is a multiprotocol network actuator dedicated for PICVs, allowing direct temperature monitoring and control of supported medium. Together with Libra PICV the MVExxxx-2-RS creates a unique energy calculation solution for heating or cooling coils in air handling units and district heating plants.

Thanks to the RS-485 connectivity with Modbus RTU and BACnet MS/TP the actuator is ready for direct integration with Building Management Systems. MVE-2-RS series can also work with the standard Globe Valves, but in this configuration the energy calculation functionality is
not available.


2 NTC10K Inputs for Temperature Sensors

2 End Points Switches (DMVE Accessory)
The end points relays switch if the valve is fully open or closed. Dry contacts auxiliary switches can be used to indicate the end position of the valve and for relay control of other devices.

Open Communication
The MVE2xxx-2-RS actuator is equipped with an RS485 interface with open protocol Modbus RTU and BACnet MS/TP communication. Up to 32 devices can be connected on one bus.

Calibration function
The actuator is equipped with an automatic calibration function that is activated at the first start-up of the actuator. Calibration can be repeated at any time by pressing the button on the electronic board or remotely via Modbus and BACnet.

Simplified Configuration and Commissioning Process
The micro USB port facilitates local testing and a straightforward updating process, and the RS485 transceiver allows up to 32 devices to reliably communicate with the client on a single bus.

Thanks to the free-of-charge MVE-2-RS Configurator tool you can configure, commission, and monitor if the actuator works properly.

Wide Range of Configuration Possibilities
MVE204-2-RS is a new product in the well-known MVE family. It combines an open protocol communication and control functionalities with well-known configuration possibilities such as: electronic fail-safe function, user-friendly U-bolt connection, protection jackets, heaters for fluids below 0°C and wide range of linkages to other manufacturers' valves.
