The course is designed for system integrators and engineers of all backgrounds,  no prior nano EDGE ENGINE experience required. Knowledge about our porfolio of products is helpful but not mandatory, During the course you will:

  • Understand nano EDGE ENGINE fundamentals and benefits.
  • Learn which iSMA CONTROLLI controllers are powered by nano EDGE ENGINE.
  • learn how to program nano EDGE ENGINE devices

You’ll gain hands-on experience with:

  • iC Tool programminginterface
  • iSMA modules and drivers
  • nano EDGE ENGINE architecture and component structure
  • Control logic, graphics, and alarms
  • Network integration (BACnet, Modbus)

The course ends with a practical project testing key nano EDGE ENGINE concepts. Upon passing, you receive the iSMA CONTROLLI nano EDGE ENGINE Certificate that demonstrates skills necessary to engineer and program nano EDGE ENGINE powered devices.

The training is available both online and in-classroom. Classroom sessions are held in Warsaw, Gdańsk, and Genoa.

For online classes, you’ll need a stable internet connection, a Windows 10+ computer, and a camera. Two monitors are recommended but not required. We will provide you with a fully configured VM where you will work through a collection of exercises.

Day 1

  • BACnet and Modbus Exposition
  • Modbus Gateway
  • Acton Trigger Extension
  • Backup Manager
  • Technical Certification Program – Final Exam 

The on-line training participant must meet the following requirements:

Good internet connection, at least 4 Mbps/2 Mbps [download/upload]

A computer with a freshly installed operating system – at least Windows 10.

Each computer should have 2 monitors or a separate computer should be used to display the instructor window

At least one external camera per student should be used, with two cameras recommended (two external or one external and
one built-in)
